Back from EWBC2008

3 days, 100s of wines and 2000km later I’m back in Portugal.

After a few days in Salamanca and Léon I headed to Logroño in the (gorgeous) region of Rioja to attend the first ever European Wine Bloggers Conference.

The first ever wine blogger conference was a terrific experience with the participation of wine lovers, producers, social media especialists and bloggers from 11 countries.

EWBC2008

I made a bunch of new friends. People who are passionate about wine and what they do. It was a unique opportunity to meet some virtual friends face to face and exchange opinions and ideas on we are all doing.

Thanks Ryan, Gabriella and Robert for making it happen. I miss you all and Rioja already.

I’ll be posting my pictures on Flickr later (here’s everyone’s pictures) and also write about what happen in the conference on Adegga’s blog.
