Dynamic Wine Labels

Imagine you are in a restaurant or in a wine shop and would like to know more information about a wine you’re thinking of buying. If that wine uses the new Dynamic Wine Labels you’ll be able to use your mobile phone to instantly access lots of useful information about that wine (ratings, notes, prices) directly from the adegga wine community.

We’ve done a nice video demonstrating how it all works:

Dynamic Wine Labels from andrerib on Vimeo.

To make this work we’ve connected three things together: the AVIN our ISBN-like unique wine identifier, the mobile version of adegga and the QRCodes technology.

    Well done!
Really like the idea and its potential!
When are we likely to start finding the AVIN codes in wine bottles? I am keen to spread the news to those who are likely to use the system. Meanwhile, I will spread the word to those who are likely to appreciate the idea, the technology and the potential.
I wish you the best of luck, Andre.

This is great, André. Your idea of bringing a classical, vintage real life social activity and turning it into a new whole experience is fascinating.

    Dear Andre,

Jolly good work. We are starting to go commercially with the QR Codes on our back labels. But for now we face the size problem. Let’s see what we manage out of it.

    Cheers!
