How to Bootstrap was a presentation I did at Reboot together with my good friend Thomas who did a great job of putting my bootstrapping experience in context.

Someone in the audience was saying by the end, they moved to SF because of the negativity towards boostrapping/startup work, It seems to be the general attitude in Europe towards it.
Yes it’s not easy in Europe to bootstrap but most of all to admit it. It’s socially not easy to buy a cheaper car, not go on vacations, etc as everyone else you age is doing. However if you overcome that idea of impossible sacrifice you can do whatever you want.
