Lots of inspiration at LIFT09
I just had a wonderful experience at LIFT in Geneva. There was an refreshingly new audience from many different areas (design, finance, urban planning, business) which alongside the great topics of the talks made up for a very cool event.
This year’s theme was “Where has the future gone?” and some speakers approached the theme from a history point of view while others raised very good questions about the future.
These were some of my favourite presentations:
1. Sarah Marquis and her remarkable experience away from the technological world.
2. Natalie Jeremijenko and her wonderful Environmental Health Clinic.
3. Lee Bryant and his interesting point of view.
4. And of course the father of the Internet Vint Cerf’s end talk about the future of the Internet.
All the conference videos can be watched online (mostly in french).
