MacBook Air

Apple’s new MacBook Air is an amazing product:
- Trackpad Gestures
- 5 hours battery power
- Weight: 1.36 kg
- Wi-Fi 802.11n (Up to 248 Mbit/s)
- Bluetooth
- 13.3-inch widescreen
- 2GB (667MHz) DDR2 SDRAM
You can compare the Air with any notebook on sale and it might even loose in some hardware/performance items. However, the fact that Apple is able to build an amazing integrated product (OS, Hardware, Experience, Design, Usability) is what makes the Air a brilliant machine.
Love is in the details.

You have to love the envelope idea. It’s so visually explicit. Amazingly simple ad.

Apple Portugal. Finally.
We know that a country is developing and growing when global companies decide to enter the market with their products and services. A few years ago Fnac and IKEA finally opened in Portugal and changed the way Music, DVDs, Computers and furniture are bought.

One of the missing global companies was Apple. Misrepresented by another company, Apple was never up to its name. It’s not an Apple Store (bricks & mortar) but Apple finally opened it’s Apple Portugal Store.
Of course we can always discuss the potential impact in a country’s culture by the entrance of this companies. However I believe that the best examples actually contribute to that culture (Fnac, anyone?). In the end there’s always a rise in healthy competition and this is always a good sign.
When is Starbucks finally coming?
